This winter, DFN gallery is pleased to present drawings and paintings on paper by over 20 established and emerging contemporary artists.  From pastels and graphite to watercolors and acrylic, these works demonstrate the tactility of paper, reminding the viewer of the diversity and presence that this material holds.  The pieces in WORKS ON PAPER, which includes artists represented by DFN and invited guests, depict interiors, figures, cityscapes, and scenes from nature.  While content differs from one artist to the next, the works are joined by the basic properties of paper, resulting in a unified balance that exemplifies the ultimate effect of this medium.
