DFN Gallery is pleased to present our winter group exhibition, ABSTRACT/NATURE, featuring paintings and drawings by 21 contemporary artists. The works in ABSTRACT/NATURE are about the inherent abstract beauty found in nature and in the human form. Each artist approaches the idea differently, but all owe a debt to Romantic and Modernist traditions. Expressive paint handling, reductive compositions, and repeated and fragmented forms are all used to remind us of nature’s grace.
