Artist's Statement
"I am constantly inspired by the landscape and its artistic heritage. In nature, there exists deeply profound moments where one connects
with a higher energy and feels more alive. My paintings are a response to those moments, an attempt to recreate the heightened visual and
emotional drama. Though inspired by my experience living in the Hudson Valley, these paintings have progressively become less about
documenting a particular place, and more about expressing a personal experience. In this way, the work transcends landscape as mere
subject matter."
